2022 Sonic Time Trial - Shek O Triathlon
The first Sonic Time Trial (TT) in 2022 is set on 25 September 2022 for our registered club members as internal training race, in order to prepare for TriHK Triathlon in October! Please read the following detail and course map.
Date: 25 September Sunday
Format: Short Distance Triathlon approx 800m swim - 28k bike - 4k run
Meeting Time: 7:00am for transition setup and warm up
Start Time: 7:30am
Registered member of Team Sonic in 2022 only (RAT test must be shown on race day for validation)
HELMET MANDATORY
Sonic Club Kits MANDATORY
No road closure, riding with open traffic
Hand-signal and Long shoulder check when U-turn
We may adjust the course when unexpected road/sea condition happened

Registration
Please tap on following button to register for the time trial, then bib number will be automatically assigned and your name will be on the start list in the timing system.
Course Map
Swim 800m
3 lap of 250m swim around 2 orange balls inside beach area in clockwise direction, short sand run between each lap. Distance will be based on tide condition, roughly 750~800m in total.
Bike 28k
From Shek O car park ride to Big Wave Bay (BWB) roundabout and turn left ride along entire Shek O road and turn around at Cape Collision roundabout, back down to BWB roundabout and turn around to Shek O road for 2nd lap, after finishing 2 laps ride then back to Shek O car park.
Run 4k
From Shek O car park keep on right side to run all the way to Big Wave Bay car park, run around the outer perimeter of the car park in anti-clockwise direction and back to Shek O car park (stay on left side on return).
