2021 is a short and intense season for #teamsonictriathlete; we had the COVID 4th wave in the entire 1st quarter then things start relaxing in April, our training also resuming in full swings; Sonic Time Trial 1 at Sunny Bay became the season opener in early May, that 4k/36k/4k Duathlon was challenging for mind and body under the early summer heat condition! Series ranking will be based on the accumulated shortest time taken in 4 races; Top 3 male/female will be awarded in our end of season party.

In one weekend of late August, there is a crazy man in Sonic James Shum completed the IRONMAN distance swim 3.8k at Repulse, cycle 180k in Tung Chung, 42.2k run in TKO, under the scorching heat of Hong Kong, as his IRONMAN Copenhagen virtual, that he signed up in 2019!
There is not the post-Olympic effect but definitely the James effect! Few members come to me about this so let me share a few things in that 12 months of coaching journey.
