2026 Sonic Time Trial 2 - Shek O Triathlon
The second round of Sonic Time Trial (TT) in 2026 is set on 25th October 2026 for our registered club members as internal training race, this round would be a great chance as sprint tri rehearsal for those preparing TriHK Triathlon World Cup in November.

Date: 25th October Sunday
Format: Short Distance Triathlon format 750m swim 28k bike 4k run
Meeting Time: 7:30am for transition setup and warm up
Start Time: 8:00am

Course Map
Swim 750m
From Shek O beach swim around 2 orange ball in clock-wise direction for 3 rounds. Each round around 250m depends on tide. (In case of high wave situation, we may switch to duathlon format as 2k run to replace the swim)
Bike 28k
From Shek O car park ride to Big Wave Bay (BWB) roundabout and turn left ride along entire Shek O road and turn around at Cape Collision roundabout, back down to BWB roundabout and turn around to Shek O road for 2nd lap, after finishing 2 laps ride then back to Shek O car park.
Run 4k
From Shek O car park keep on right side to run all the way to Big Wave Bay car park, run around the outer perimeter of the car park in anti-clockwise direction and back to Shek O village small roundtable, turn left for 100m run towards turning point and turn back to Shek O car park (stay on left side on return). (this additional 100m run into the village due to bamboo temple is being build in main car park area)
